Benchtop belt/disc sanders provide users the ability to perform a variety of sanding jobs with a compact, portable unit they can install at home or work. The combo units come with a belt that can be set vertically or horizontally. The disc table also adjusts to accommodate the angle of the sanding job.

The belt can be set horizontally, vertically and at any position between 0 and 90 degrees. The disc is connected with an 8 3/4 x 6 1/4” cast-aluminum work table with a 45-degree beveling. The belt disc sander also features a heavy-duty cast iron base for stability, a 2 1/2” dust port and a miter gauge.

The BD4603 by Bucktool features a 5 amp 3/4 HP motor delivering a belt speed of 2165 RPM and a disc speed of 3450 RPM. The size of the 80-grit disc sander is 6”, while the size of the belt is 4″x36”. The belt can be repositioned according to project requirements up to 90 degrees, and it can be quickly removed with a tension release handle. Other features of the benchtop sander include a miter gauge, safety switch, cast aluminum base, tracking knob, a dust port, and an extra (metal rod) support with the belt. There’s also another version of the machine: BD4801. The belt dimensions are the same for the two, but the disc size is 2” larger for this one.
