Ford Adds Support For Glympse, Lets Friends Know When You’ll Arrive

  • Real-time location-sharing app Glympse plans to bring its app into Ford vehicles.
  • First location-sharing app for Ford’s SYNC in-car connectivity system
  • Ford drivers will be able use voice commands to let others know exactly where they are while driving.
  • To use Glympse

  • Bluetooth-pair or USB-connect that phone to a Ford SYNC AppLink-enabled vehicle

  • Their location will be shared

Toshiba Shows Off Its New 84-inch Ultra HD 4K TV

  • Toshiba upcoming line of Ultra HD 4K TVs. The L9300 series is headlined by an 84-inch model (pictured above), but also includes a 58 and 65-inch set.
  • 4K format gives you four times the pixel resolution of a standard 1080p Full-HD television
  • Offers a picture at a 3,840 x 2,160 pixels
  • Toshiba’s 4K series uses its own CEVO 4K Quad + Dual Core Processor
  • It what converts standard 1080p content to the 4K resolution
  • Doesn’t create any artifacts in the process.

This is currently the largest Ultra High-Definition TV in the world, and features Samsung’s Smart Hub software.
Powered by a 1.35Ghz quad-core A15 processor.
There are no details on the cost yet, but you can be sure it will probably be around the price of a small family car.
